GLACIER WOODTURNERS ASSOCIATION


Founded in 1995 to serve the woodturning needs of the Flathead Valley in Northwest Montana and beyond.

Mission Statement

The Associations mission is to foster a wider understanding and appreciation of lathe-turning as a traditional and contemporary craft and a form of art among the general public, hobbyists turners, and professional turners.  This is accomplished by providing education, information and technical support relating to woodturning.

Glacier Woodturners Association's meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Hanson Trucking in Columbia Falls, Montana. The meetings are open to the public and are held from 9:00 am until 3 pm. There is coffee and pasteries, and there is an agenda for each meeting and a specific woodturning topic is covered.
